The main themes of the conference were specific performance factors and the encouragement of young professionals in their career development and their involvement in DFK International.
The DFK International European Meeting took place in Madrid on 6-8th February 2020. The focus of this highly successful conference with close to 200 attendees was on the importance of representing a firm and how behaviours can impact on performance, particularly around business development with existing and prospective clients.
Delegates participated actively in sessions concerning professional themes such as the EU-Directive DAC 6 with a survey in 28 countries. The presentations addressed some soft skills as well, including staff recruitment, communication, behaviour and business development.
Anne Brady, vice-president of DFK EMEA confirmed the important role of young professionals: “The young professionals are the future of DFK and this is a great opportunity for them to get to know partners from other member firms and benefit from that extended networking.”
